Day 4
He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." Jesus Christ as recorded in John 14:21
Do you hunger for God? Do you want Him to "show up" in your life?
Well, Jesus tells us how to experience Him in our everyday lives . . . by keeping His commandments.
As a born-again child of the Most High God you have access to your Father. He loves you. He wants you to hear Him and even see Him as you walk in the spirit with Him
But to nourish our spirits, we must spend consistent time with God. We must know Him and His ways. Jesus gained clear access to our Father. And the way we learn about the Lord and the kingdom of God He came to earth to preach about . . . is by studying and meditating in the Word of God.

Day 5
"In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation." - Psalm 5:3
- expectation - a strong belief that something will happen
When God tells us in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart," I expect that He will make good on that promise. Therefore, as we pursue Him in prayer during this fast, we can be confident that He will reveal Himself to us in powerful ways.
Start your morning with prayer. Don't even leave the house until you have had a few moments with your Saviour. Lay your burdens at His feet, and then leave them there. Trust God to work in response to your requests, for He is faithful to answer the cries of His children!
My prayer for you today is that you will be filled with joy as you consider the unfailing love of our Lord. There is no one like Him, and He alone is worthy of our praise. May your heart be filled with expectation as you seek the Lord today.
